Programs
Stop Motion Animation: During this program you will learn storyboarding and planning, set design and creation, stop motion animation techniques, filming, sound effect creation, and basic editing.
Comedy Skit: In this class, you’ll plan, write, film, and edit a comedy skit (or two!) in the studio. All students will be expected to participate both in front of and behind the camera.

No experience is necessary and we welcome ages 9-12 at our weeklong programs.
Programs are held at NCTV's studio, and typically run during February & April vacations as well as one week in July and one week in August.

Rent Space - "The Green Room"
What is 'The Green Room'?
The Green Room is a multi-functional space for a variety of uses. It boasts over 600 square feet of open space that is customizable to accommodate meetings, workshops, activities, screenings, demonstrations, performances, and much more! The commercial grade wood-like laminate flooring is a classic and clean look perfect for any need.

- Projector with adapters and 100’ screen
- Windows laptop equipped with Microsoft Office and an HDMI out (for use with projector)

- Kitchenette with sink and full sized refrigerator and drawer freezer
- Accessible bathroom

- Hybrid meeting set up with microphones
- PA system with microphones & hookup for a laptop/phone/mp3 player for music
- Full video coverage of event/meeting
- On-site staff for technical assistance
Price
Business/Personal Use: For-profits, community groups (not nonprofits), and other uses of The Green Room are welcome for an hourly rate. The fee to use The Green Room for groups other than registered nonprofits is $35/hour with a minimum of 1-hour.
Nonprofit Use: Our commitment to support fellow local nonprofit groups extends to use of The Green Room. NCTV will waive the $35/hour fee for nonprofit groups and their events, meetings, and gatherings of all kinds, subject to availability and at NCTV’s discretion. If a nonprofit would like to contribute to NCTV, we graciously accept donations online at www.norfolkcable.com/donate or in person via cash or check (made out to Norfolk Cable Corp).

Tape to Digital Transfers
Digitize Your Home Movies
Dust off your old video tapes and bring them into the digital age! NCTV offers video tape to digital transfers so you can store, share, and watch to your heart's content! Save those memories before the tapes degrade and are lost forever. Want to know what is on the tape before you commit to transferring it? Use the rack for free to preview your content before deciding (donations are accepted!)

Transfer
- $10/hour of tape (with a minimum of $5/tape)
Storage
- Copy digital files to your hard drive/USB drive is included
- DVD copies are an additional $10/DVD
The money raised by this service will be used to further our cause of community empowerment through digital media by purchasing production equipment and paying for services essential for running NCTV.
