Tired of being cooped up in the house? Need some space from the kids? Well, the Wrentham Recreation Department has your answer! They are offering summer volleyball clinics at Rice Recreational Complex.
Boys and girls entering the sixth grade all the way up to sophomores in high school are invited. They will be split up into two groups with different dates and times. Clinics for kids in the grades of 6-8 are being offered on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 starting July 20 and running through August 5. High school freshmen and sophomores can go Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00 beginning on July 23 and ending on August 6.
The younger group will learn the fundamentals of the sport, such as passing, setting, hitting, and blocking. They will also be able to play games and have fun. The older group will focus on the same skills, but at a more advanced level. The Wrentham Recreation Department welcomes both beginners and experienced players.
The clinics for players grades 6-8 are $50 and for the high school students $30. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the clinics are capped at 32 players at each, so make sure you sign up soon!
