Stuck inside? When the quarantine first started and continuing to this very day as we strictly follow state and federal restrictions put into place in order to curb the spread of the disease. Little did we know that this hiatus from life as we knew it would become less of a hiatus and more of an unfortunate way of life... lasting almost a year (and unfortunately still counting). There are only so many movies and TV shows you can binge-watch before going crazy yourself. So if you haven't reached that point yet and you've run out of media to watch on Netflix, then we have some good news. Just tune in to NCTV! Besides learning about what's going on at town meetings and staying informed or enjoying content produced by fellow residents, then there are plenty of other streaming services now available to choose from. So many, I can't even keep track of them all, but here is a start: Prime Video, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Starz... there's even one called Peacock. And I'm sure more will pop up and we the consumers, unfortunately, will end up having to weigh the options and decide which streaming service best fits our preferred content- or simp-ly subscribe to them all.

Enough about streaming shows all day and night though because many people have used the time off to reevaluate/reflect a put life on pause for a little and forge a path forwards..., while still others went full steam ahead, taking advantage of every minute. This is how we ended up with "The Covid Files," brought to you by NCTV producer, private airplane pilot, race car driver... and just all-around badass, Bill McGoldrick.

According to McGoldrick, "this is a project that I did with about 16 others during the Pandemic of 2020. We had about 15 or so musical parts and we all recorded these at our homes. We did one part at a time and then cobbled them all together over 3 months. We covered The Rascals, Tune, People Got to Be Free, and I am very happy with how it came out."

When I first saw this video I was blown away by how much time, effort, and skill clearly went into creating it. So great job to all of those involved! Scroll down more to watch the full episode as well as the rest of McGoldrick's TV show episodes.
