THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television’s blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-On Tuesday, Katy Woodhams taught Basic Camera Skills that can be applied to any camera and also went into detail with the two different consumer cameras that NCTV offers!

-On Thursday evening, NCTV volunteers Donna Jones and Amelia Schneider headed to the town hill to film the unique stylings of the King Philip World Percussion Ensemble & El Caribe Steele Drum Band.

-Bill Crane and Duane Weiss came into the studio to express their “well thought-out and clearly expressed opinions” on a new Bill Crane Report.

-Anne Marie Battistone demonstrated how to transform your old jewelry and give it a new sparkle on a new Beading Show.


-NCTV is excited to start our week-long Stop-Motion Animation Youth Program on Monday.  If you’re interested in learning more about our youth programs, call or email us directly OR contact the Norfolk Recreation Department!

-NCTV will hold its first Public Service Announcement Day on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 12 PM to 5 PM, which will be an opportunity for non-profit and government organizations to visit the station and film PSAs.  If you’re interested in signing up, call the station directly at 508-520-2780 OR email Chris Lawn at any time between now and September.
