THIS WEEK AT NCTV is Norfolk Community Television’s blog recapping each week and highlighting upcoming workshops, events, premieres, and volunteer opportunities!  Check in every Friday starting at 4 PM for the latest scoop about the station, its members, the schools, and the town.


-NCTV, in partnership with the National Association for Media Literacy Education, hosted Media Literacy Week in a general effort to promote education about media and technology!

-On Tuesday, Norfolk Town Administrator Jack Hathaway and Selectmen Chair Jim Lehan came into the studio for another Conversation Corner about the upcoming 2015 Norfolk Annual Special Fall Town Meeting.

-Co-hosts Bill Crane and Duane Weiss create some “pure magic” on a new Bill Crane Report.

-NCTV hosted a special screening of This Land is Our Land, a documentary produced by the Media Education Foundation, which shows how commercial interests and the restrictive monopoly powers of corporate elites are undermining our collective interests and our overall democratic process.


-This upcoming Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the main studio, the NCTV staff will teach Part 2 of our two-part Studio Production Workshop which will go behind-the-scenes into the control room including technical directing, graphics, video recording, and using the soundboard!  For more info, or to sign up online, click here or just show up the day of!

-The Norfolk Special Fall Town Meeting will take place at the King Philip Middle School on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 7 PM.
